Julie and Nicola founded Living Italy in 2019 after experiencing first-hand what it really means to navigate the Italian property market as an international buyer. The process was more complex, more opaque, and more stressful than it needed to be. They built Living Italy to change that.

Nicola is Italian, Julie is Venezuelan-born, they've spent the last twenty years living across the world. Between them, they have lived the experience of building a life abroad — navigating new countries, new systems, and new cultures — that so many of their clients are now embarking on.
That international perspective shapes everything about Living Italy. They understand what it means to be an outsider in a new country, to face bureaucracy in a language that isn't yours, and to make a major life decision without a local network to rely on.
Nicola brings deep fluency in the Italian property market — its legal framework, its regional nuances, its hidden opportunities. Julie brings the perspective of the international buyer who has done it herself, and knows exactly what it takes to feel safe and confident when buying in an unfamiliar system.
Based in Italy, they work directly with clients across the US, UK, Australia, and Northern Europe.
